What is Regala un Libro?
Regala un Libro is a project founded 20 years ago by Notaría Diaz Salazar y Asociados, longstanding partners and now Padrinos por la Educación of ProEduca Sinaloa IAP. It promotes reading and the tradition of giving a book on Culiacán’s anniversary every September 29.
Equipped with the Bicibiblioteca and supported by friends and volunteers, the project grew and is now part of ProEduca Sinaloa.
Regala un Libro is a cultural program that promotes reading and prepares the community for its main event, when residents exchange books on September 29 to celebrate the city.
Every September 29, marking the founding of our beloved city, people in Culiacán give one another a book to strengthen bonds and a culture of peace. We want Culiacán to be a city of readers, foster a love of reading, and create opportunities to come together and share knowledge.
Everyone is invited to this tradition. School and university students, professionals, entrepreneurs and older adults can all join the activities.
